ABOUT OUR CLUB
THE SUSSEX BRITISH MOTORCYCLE OWNERS CLUB was formed in May 1986 to cater for anyone owning or having an interest in British motorcycles and meets every Monday evening, except Bank Holidays, from 8pm to 10pm at the Clymping Village Hall on the A259 (50 yards from the Ford road roundabout). As part of the Clymping Sports and Social Club we enjoy use of the Village Hall facilities including the bar and a large car park with hard standing for motorcycles. In an effort to accommodate the wishes of our 100 strong membership and apart from the very sociable Monday meetings we undertake a variety of activities which include the following.
For those who enjoy riding their motorcycles we have Friday runs, usually around fifty or so miles around the local lanes, before adjourning to one of the many hostelries that welcome us. If you wish to ride further afield we make every effort to do so to shows, far too many to mention, but you will find the details on our website events calendar. Social events are always popular we often run, quizzes, skittles, and annual rock and roll nights and a Club dinner, with such events enabling partners to become involved. The Club has for many years raised funds in support of a local children’s charity and continues to do so. You will find the details of the charity elsewhere within this website. Should you be interested in joining the Club please come along any Monday evening and introduce yourself. We are a friendly bunch so visitors are always welcome. If you like what you see then perhaps you’ll join us.
